For a while I was worried that I wouldn't be running the NYC Marathon this year. Apparently there was some confusion about receiving my paperwork postponing my guaranteed entry from last year. But all seems to have worked out, so now I'm back to planning on being in the race. (And as always, a little behind on my miles!)
Yesterday
Breakfast: yogurt w/sliced almonds, 2 1/2 cups coffee w/half and half
Snack: 1/2 cup chocolate covered raisins
Lunch: carrot sticks and dip, peas w/parmesan and basil, cheerios, water
Dinner: black bean, salsa and cheese quesadilla, carrots, kiwi, water
Yesterday's mileage: 4.5 miles
Month-to-date: 10.5 miles
Year-to-date: 174 miles
Today
Breakfast: yogurt w/granola, 2 1/2 cups coffee w/half and half
Snack: 1/4 cup chocolate covered raisins
Lunch: salad w/couscous and black beans
Dinner:
Today's mileage: 3 miles
Month-to-date: 13.5 miles
Year-to-date: 177 miles
