Late Run Today

I am home with a sick child today, and although it is nice out now (I love this 60 degree November weather!), I will wait a bit before going for a short run.

Next Marathon

I am thinking again about running the More half-marathon in April.  At the very least, it might make sense as part of my training for next November.

No Marathon for Me

Less than 5 miles into my last planned 18-mile training run, I felt the pain in my hip that plagued me this summer return.  So I've been resting it for the last week or so in the hopes that some R&R would allow me to run on Sunday.  Alas it is not to  be... even just a walk yesterday put me in pain.  Starting a 26.2 mile run when just a 2 mile walk hurts, doesn't seem wise, so I will withdraw from the marathon in the hopes of running it next year.  So sad...
