Fartlek
I first encountered fartlek training at a session with MAAM some years ago. I've largely neglected this type of interval training in the time since. But on Sunday, my running partner and I talked about recent research that shows that this type of speed work can be more useful for burning calories that running at a steady pace, and so gave it a try. I could really feel the difference!
