Checklist for Sunday's 1/2 Marathon
- sneakers w/ID tag
- NYRR race chip
- synthetic socks (cotton socks retain too much moisture)
- knee brace
- shorts chosen for minimum chafing
- running bra
- MAAM singlet
- NYRR number bib (affixed w/safety pins)
- hat
- watch
- cellphone
- money and house key
- ipod with my 13.1 mile play list
Before I go, I must remember to take some Ibuprofen and Glucosamine Chondroitin plus put a little Ben Gay on the still-offending knee. Wearing a little sun screen is a good idea, too. I also need to eat something sustaining and have something to drink.
